Frequently asked questions
Does Senior Care Resources serve my part of Florida?
Yes. We serve every Florida county. Nearly all of a Florida Medicaid application is done by phone, video, secure upload, and mail, and the rules and the application system are the same statewide. Our office is in Bonita Springs and we meet Southwest Florida families in person.
Do I need a local Medicaid planner?
No. Florida Medicaid is administered by Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) under one set of rules statewide, and the application is filed through the same ACCESS Florida system from anywhere. What matters is that the planner knows Florida's rules, not that they are in your town.
Can you work with a nursing home or assisted living facility in my county?
Yes. We coordinate with the facility's business office for the medical certification and the admission paperwork, wherever the facility is.
